Create Your First Song

A complete walkthrough of creating, minting, and publishing your first song on AceSteps.

Prerequisites​

  • Farcaster account
  • Wallet with ETH on Base (for gas)
  • Access to AceSteps Mini App

Step 1: Open AceSteps​

  1. Open Warpcast on mobile or desktop
  2. Navigate to AceSteps Mini App
  3. Connect your wallet when prompted

Step 2: Write Your Prompt​

Navigate to the creation screen and enter a prompt:

chill lofi beat with soft piano melodies,
vinyl crackle, and gentle rain sounds

Tips for Better Prompts​

  • Be specific about genre and mood
  • Include 3-5 descriptive elements
  • Mention instruments if important
  • Keep it under 100 words

Step 3: Generate Music​

  1. Click Generate
  2. Wait for AI to create your song (10-30 seconds)
  3. Preview the result

Not happy? Click Regenerate to try again.

Step 4: Save as NFT​

Once satisfied:

  1. Click Save
  2. Confirm the transaction in your wallet
  3. Wait for minting to complete

Your song is now an NFT in your wallet.

Step 5: Publish (Optional)​

To make your song discoverable:

  1. Go to Library
  2. Select your song
  3. Click Publish
  4. Confirm the transaction

Step 6: Enable Trading (Optional)​

To tokenize and trade your song:

  1. Select your published song
  2. Click Enable Trading
  3. Confirm the transaction

Your NFT is now locked and 100,000 tokens are created.
